Description: Iron housing with doors on the side. Top frame made out of sawed brass (Cp. T. Bollen, Comtoiseklokken, pict. 26). Brass corner decoration and winding hole covering (Cp. G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 608ff) with signage of the clockmaker: P.F. Mayet à Morbier (Cp. S. Bergmann, Comtoise-Uhren, p. 189)(Cp. Deckert, Band 2 Textband:. Die Geschichte der Comtoise Uhr, p.36ff).
Complications: Alarm
Dial: Brass collar dial with roman numerals and quarter hour markings.
Hands: Hour hand in brass-cast.
Movement: Verge Escapement. Weight-driven clock with 8 days running period. Alarm with verge escapement.
Stroke: Rack striking-work with half hour-strick from the movement, hour-strick with no repetition on one bronze bell.
Penduluml: Wire pendulum in the back with lead bulb.
