Description: Iron housing with doors on the side and screwed hinges. Back side not screwed but fixed with pins. Top frame made out of sawed brass (Cp.G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 18ff). Brass winding hole covering (Cp. G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 37ff).
Complications:
Dial: 12 enamel cartouches with roman numerals following the style of Ludwig the XIV. (Cp. G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 37ff).
Hands: Sawed and hammered iron hands (Cp. G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 39ff).
Movement: Verge Escapement with top facing teeth. Weight-driven clock with 8 days running period (Cp. G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 40ff).
Stroke: Rack striking-work with half hour-strick from the movement, hour-stroke with no repetition on one bronze bell. (Compare with G. Schmitt, Die Comtoise-Uhr, p. 40ff).
Penduluml: Long wire pendulum in the back with lead bulb.
