Top frame made out of cast brass with the theme: head of the sun with locket underneath that is framed with a string, covings on the side and blossoms. Brass sheet with wavelike engravings in the lower corners (Cp. S. Bergmann, Comtoise-Uhren, p. 57, 301). |

Dial: | Enamel dial in patelliform („Cuvette“) and signature: JM Gros Pélier. Roman numerals for the hours. Arabic numerals for the minutes. Polychrome floral painting. |
Hands: | Brass hands shaped like a sun with a fine engraving. |
Movement: | Chevalier de Béthune Escapement. Weight-driven clock with 8 days running period. |
Stroke: | Rack striking-work with half hour-strick from the movement, hour-strick with repetition on one bronze bell. |
